The group conducts high quality research in the fields of Economics, Finance and Accounting, covering a wide range of areas that can be grouped under three main headlines: financial markets, the real economy and the interplay between the financial sector and the real economy. At the same time, our activity involves the micro view, focused on financial markets and firm behavior as well as the macroeconomic perspective that encompasses the interaction between institutions, policies and markets in the context of the global economy.
