Resumen
The use of simulations for teaching and learning is an opportunity for improving education. We present in this work the IQSLabvirt, a virtual laboratory developed in the Institut Químic de Sarria. It includes in its current version seven different virtual practices (springs and pendulums, acid-base titration, qualitative analysis, colorimetry, preparation of solutions, thin layer chromatography, statistical process control) that contain structured problems and assessment features. Two of these virtual practices have been used and evaluated. The opinions of student on motivation and perception of learning are favorable. The results of these studies are also presented in this paper.
