Martela highlighted the need for a rigorous ontological account of organizational purpose: this note expands upon the account in our original article (Morrison & Mota, 2023), first by discussing in greater detail the nature of the corporate mind, and second by explaining the relationship between the corporate mind and our conception of organizational purpose.
