Resum

In the present article, the procedure of nitrogen analysis has been optimized and it has been revalidated in samples of taurine by means of the Kjeldahl method. The Spanish Association of Pharmacists of the Industry (AEFI) proposes a model of calculation that allows to determine the number of talked back to realise, based on the coefficient of variation of the repeatability of the procedure (C.V.%) and the accepted limit value, that in the case of the determination of the purity, corresponds to the maximum or minimum value of the specifications of the sample. When applying this model, considering the uncertainty of calibration of the equipment, like the minimum possible value for C.V.%, and considering the specifications established for the taurine in the U.S. Pharmacopeia 30, is obtained that the number of talked back to realise is of five or six, according to the conditions of work.
