Resum
A training methodology developed in a course of social skills of the degrees given by the Pere Tarrés Faculty of Social Education and Social Work of the Ramon Llull University (Barcelona-Spain) is presented. First, the social skills of the students were detected and analyzed. After that, a work plan to improve the social skills that are necessary in a professional context was designed and applied. This methodology is planned as a supervised practical work that needs the involvement of the student in the organization, development and evaluation of the subject. To facilitate this involvement, a narrative resource that gives meaning to all activities has been included. Data that have been collected through student satisfaction surveys as indicators of social validity were used. The positive results of this experience justify its dissemination and use in other universities.
