Resumen

Human Resources Development (HRD) and Organizational Development (OD) are linked. Over the years, many HRD interventions have been developed to support organizational change and development. In planned organizational change, HRD professionals contribute to the change process with knowledge about selection, motivation, career development and cultural changes. In organizational development, HRD professionals support the change process with their experience in team development and by creating a positive learning environment for executives and employees. This expertise of HRD professionals is still valid, but the challenge is to build on this existing skill and add new methods to contribute to the future of agile organizations in a turbulent business world. A perspective on organizational change as a collaborative play is offered that opens new perspectives for HRD professionals to play a role in ambiguous change processes, support managers and employees in the change and prepare their organization for the future.
