La creació d'una genealogia femenina a través de la traducció: Maria-Mercè Marçal i Montserrat Abelló.

This article focuses on the work of two Catalan poets and translators, Montserrat Abelló and Maria-Mercè Marçal, who used translation as a strategy to establish a literary affiliation with writers of other languages and traditions: Sylvia Plath and Adrienne Rich in the case of Abelló, and Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva in Marçal's. The article considers challenges to the literary canon from a feminist perspective, which has highlighted the dearth of female authors among the writers who are considered canonical. The study also examines the role translation has played in the creation of the canon, given that the selection of works that form the corpus transcends borders and languages.
