The Esade Data Driven Decisions Research Institute is centered on understanding and analyzing the complexity of human judgments and decisions involving marketing processes, where intangible aspects of cognition processes such as behavior and emotion are highly relevant. In this direction, features related to the changing external market environments and nuances that affect humans in decision-making are considered through data science and artificial intelligence techniques. In addition, there is an specific interest in capturing humans common-sense reasoning and sharing of information in complex systems such as social networks and collaborative platforms.
Applied research and diffusion of outcomes are oriented at innovation in marketing by understanding the effect of technology changes to data science on decision-making processes.
