Abstract
The objective of this study is to describe, through a case study design, the psychological and emotional consequences that gender-based violence in the couple has on children. A case of a minor that was exposed to gender violence is presented, she had been submitted to two projective tests, the CAT-A and the Test of the two human figures (T2F). The results obtained from CAT-A suggest that feelings of fear predominate, in which parental figures are perceived as absent and frustrating; The environment is distinguished by being menacing and the self-image is characterized by the insecurity and being lost. In relation to the second (T2F), we see the presence of emotional indicators linked to feelings of loneliness, difficulties in social skills and need for contact
