Abstract

This article shows the description and results of the second phase of Project to improve the care of immigrants in primary care in Catalonia. In the first phase were made 22 care plans for immigrants. Objective: To describe the cultural validation process of care plans. Methods: The validation of cultural coherence was made by a focus group with predominant mediators of cultural groups identified in the first phase. Results: We identified 46 indicators defined in 8 categories and the cultural validation of 11 of the 24 NOC care plans proposed in phase 1.Conclusions: With the validation of care plans has shown that the participation of immigrants is essential to ensure the implementation of culturally adapted health programs thus guaranteeing the assignment by the collective bargaining.
