Abstract
Traditionally, the therapeutic goals in the treatment of schizophrenia have been symptomatic relief and prevention of relapse. But nowadays,
the extension of these objectives adds, as an indicator of the results of therapeutic action, an evaluation of the quality of life. The purpose of this study is
to evaluate the effect of psychosocial intervention group on the subjective quality of life, the symptomatic state and the number and duration of relapses in
individuals diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
