Abstract
Background. Translation and cultural adaptation of measurement instruments in health is a first step in validating a scale. The SQLS (Schizophrenia quality of life scale) is an instrument that has not been validated for use with patients in Colombia. Objective. Translation and cultural adaptation to Spanish in Colombia of the SQLS. Conclusion. As a result of this work, a preliminary version of this scale is available to generate a validated version of this instrument in order to be applied in Colombian patients.
