Abstract
Thermal stability of pure substances and their mixtures is an essential data for the chemical industry in order to establish the storage conditions of the final products to guarantee their purity and to prevent possible accidents due to the heat generated during their thermal decomposition. In this paper, some different criteria to estimate thermal risk of pure substances and their mixtures are exposed based of usual data as heat of formation, heat of combustion or empirical formula.
