Abstract

The safety assessment of an industrial synthesis process is presented in this paper. The minimum number of experiments which are considered necessary in order to establish the risk limits of the process made in plant conditions are presented. Possible changes or improvements in the operation of the process as a result of the obtained information and the adiabatic calorimetry experiments made in order to desing the reactor venting are not commented in this paper.
