Abstract
Generalizing the classic definition of the symmetric difference operator in the lattice (P(X), min, max, 1-j) we obtain four equivalent representations of this operator. Nevertheless, if we consider another De Morgan triplet in P(X) extending the four representations we obtain four different operators. The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze these four operators describing their properties and studying the cases in which they are equivalent.
