Spirituality in management education: Lessons learnt from two experiences

Research output: Conference paperContribution

Abstract

Over the last few years, we have developed two 'experiences' that are very different but which share a desire to explicitly incorporate spirituality as a dimension of Management Education. One of these 'experiences' is aimed at highly-experienced managers (aged roughly between 40 and 60). The other targets students taking the last year of the BBA programme (that is to say, 22-year olds). The two 'experiences' also differ in their approaches to spirituality. The first adopts a traditional religious framework and the second a lay framework without religious references. We shall briefly present the two "experiences" and share some of the lessons we have learnt from them.
