Abstract

We can clearly situate the question regarding the relation between spirituality and CSR within the context of today's crisis, a crisis that is not only ecological and social (usual CSR topics) but also cultural-spiritual. Furthermore, in this chapter I argue that these issues are interrelated and that we cannot address them separately. I thus explore how this has emerged and the role that reflections on leadership and workplace spirituality have played. As a means to understand this spirituality, I present four approaches to the spirituality-management question. The chapter concludes by highlighting the need for us to consider the contribution that spirituality can make to different CSR approaches.
