Abstract
This paper attempts to describe the fieldwork stage of a research project on organizational learning.It starts with an overview oftheproject'Small Business Training and Competitiveness'. It goes on to explain some conceptual aspectsthat serveasguidanceto theempirical research. Furtheron, it focuses on thedescription of the fieldwork that is being carried out at ESADE and concentrates on the way interviews have developed. Finally, we illustrate some preliminary results of a pilot case.
