Abstract
This study utilizes nine case studies from Nigerian family businesses (three cases each embedded in the three regions of Nigeria) and juxtaposes Basco's family business regional development framework and Nordqvist & Melin's framework for entrepreneurship and family business to explore the variations of entrepreneurial regional capital. This study offers a novel perspective on family businesses entrepreneurial capital heterogeneity along with its implications on regional development.
