PROSOL. Producción y mercadeo de deshidratados fruti hortícolas con energía solar para la lucha contra la pobreza y el desempleo en la Quebrada de Humahuaca, Argentina

This project promotes the development and creation of agricultural enterprises by giving training, technical assistance, transfer of technologies about the processes of fruits and vegetables, in small scale, and with traditional methods. The development of the existing small agricultural enterprises and the creation of new ones, added value to the raw material, generated jobs, improved the nutrition level of the rural population and made profit of the resources that in a regular basis are lost in high quantities. The direct beneficiaries of the project are the micro rural producers, in economic social vulnerability situation, severely affected by the economical crisis of Argentina and, particularly, the Northern region of the country. These producers will obtain an integral use of their products and existing resources at an adequate price for their possibilities.
