Abstract
Reliability Based Design Optimization (RBDO) was performed on the Great Belt East Bridge under probabilistic flutter constraint considering correlation among points that define flutter derivatives. An experimental campaign to obtain flutter derivatives was carried out in order to acquire data for the construction of correlation matrix. Then reliability analysis and reliability based design optimization was performed considering correlated flutter derivatives and extreme wind speed as random variables.
