Abstract
This article discusses the projection of Juan Ramón Jiménez’s poetry on the young Argentinean poets of the 40s and 50s. The starting point of this investigation is the trip to Argentina made by the writer and his wife, Zenobia Camprubí, between August and November 1948. For this purpose, a diverse working methodology is proposed with a vision of a future comprehensive and exhaustive study that has yet to be carried out, which will have to contemplate different levels of analysis. As a preliminary work of that project, this article focuses on examining literary history and Argentine poetic anthologies of that time.
