Preparation of a method for the determination of monofluorophosphate in toothpastes and similar products by capillar electrophoresis.

Abstract

It has been achieved to prepare a quick, simple and secure method for the analysis of sodium monofluorphosphate in toothpastes end other similar products, by means of the application of capillar electrophoresis. Four samples of different trade marks have been studied and it has been proved that the results obtained by means of this techniques are comparable to the ones already described. Two types of buffer electrolyte have been tested: chromate and It has been proved that using chromate as electrolyte, one obtains the best separation and sensitivity with an analysis time lower than 4 minutes.
