Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of almost 600 research projects submitted to the last six editions (2015-2020) of the Premis als Treballs de Recerca de Batxillerat dins l’àmbit de la Química, awards to baccalaureate research projects promoted by the Catalan Society of Chemistry (SCQ). Their geographic origin, the support given from institutions outside the school and the most common topics are discussed. The rubric used for assessing the projects is presented. The assessment of the items of the rubric is inspected for the entire set of projects included in the study and for those that received higher marks. We expect that these reflections can be helpful to the future participants to these awards and to the teachers that guide the students in doing these projects.
