Abstract

The mission of a values-driven alliance is to positively change our society. In these alliances, several parties work together to have a social impact. The essence is to deal with these paradoxes in the formation, foundation, evolution and transformation of alliances. This article describes the practice of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values in the four stages of the lifecycle of alliances and how this alliance has dealt with the paradoxes in creating and developing the alliance. This article provides insight into the dynamics in value-driven alliances and how to deal with paradoxes in the alliance life cycle. In addition to understanding the dynamics of alliances, this article provides inspiration for people who want to contribute to a better world together with others.
