Abstract

The methodology to estimate nutrient intake adequacy at the individual and population level depends on the accuracy to estimate food intake, the methods to calculate nutrient intake and the nutrient requirements available for the population under study. This chapter briefly describes the methods to estimate nutrient intake adequacy.
