Abstract
The phenomenon of mobile applications (apps) has multiplied to the point of having become one of the most dynamic in the mobility environment. This type of resource is usually applied in specialized environments, and the University cannot be oblivious to it. Through quantitative inferential research and qualitative research, the perception of the usefulness of including apps in the university academic environment for leisure purposes is analysed. It is concluded that students consider positively the creation of apps focused on their profile, especially in terms of savings, which prioritize quality and price over discount, innovation, comfort and proximity, and that there is a relationship significant between age and leisure planning, use of social networks to find university leisure plans or experiences and frequency of purchases.
