Abstract
This article presents the mystagogical wealth that religious places of worship have, with the Basílica of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona being a magnificent paradigmatic example in this regard. The main purpose is to express the need to recover and update the use of holy places as current educational spaces. This thesis is established, in this third article, from a theological basis, after having presented in two previous articles the pedagogical and architectural perspectives that support that places of worship are extraordinary and unique spaces to generate and develop authentic educational experiences full of meaning and opportunities for education in the 21st century.
