Abstract
In this article we start from the interest that the child shows to stories and we wonder for the
educational and therapeutic advantages that the tale has. Starting from this idea, we build the sessions of lived tale, where movement, imagination and identification with the characters
of the tale, they are fundamental elements to develop this experience with children from 4 to
6 years. The elected tales look for to wake up in the children curiosity, imagination and hope
to solve their conflicts, lived in the body and in their movement, and from them we work the
different person’s dimensions: cognition, affectivity, behavior, fantasy, ethics, relationship…
Some ideas are also described on how to understand and to use the movement so that it
favours the child’s integral development.
