Abstract
The study analyses the representation of immigrants in four Spanish daily newspapers: El País, El Mundo, La Razón, and ABC, in the period between June 1, 2013 and June 31, 2014. Among the main findings two trends can be identified: 1. Immigrants are not given the opportunity to communicate with the readers of newspapers and 2. Immigrants are represented in contexts that undermine their social integration.
