Abstract
Abstract: This article discusses the process of scientific publication and provides relevant infor-mation for researchers in the social-educational field about being published in influential jour-nals. With this aim, the study examines the process of publication in international journals and offers a first step in the process by identifying a group of social-educational journals that share an inter-disciplinary approach. The work is based on the comments of experienced researchers in their roles as authors, evaluators and editors, based on the review of scientific articles, journal editorials and manuals of educational research associations. The article identifies three key stages in the process, which are the selection of the journal, the construction of the article and the post creation attitudes. Even though the process of publishing a scientific article is difficult to describe, because of the high level of subjectivity involved, the article describes some of the steps in order to increase the chances of success.
