Abstract

This paper is a critical study from one of the most controversial topics in the historiography of modern Argentinan poetry:"La generación de 1930", known as the novísimos. They took their name from the anthology entitled La novísima poesía argentina (1930). The compiler is called Arturo Cambours Ocampo, which he is the mentor and inventor of "La generación de 1930". Ocampos temptative of installing himself in the national literary history, will generate a great controversy in the literary criticism.
