Abstract

Performing social volunteering activities, specifically in educational leisure entities with children and adolescents, allows the development of participatory skills and social and civic commitment.
The article presents the results of a questionnaire in which 180 young people, students of the educational leisure monitor and director diplomas, assess the benefits of participating in these spaces as volunteers. The results show how this participation influences their understanding and practice. Also about the challenges they identify in relation to how to improve the participation of children and adolescents in educational leisure activities.
