Abstract

Students’ interaction in the classroom using online resources, is particularly appropriate when our class incorporates active and student-centred methodologies. In addition to these resources, we also incorporate other technologies such as the gamification, mobile devices, BYOD, etc. This occurs nowadays from primary school to university, sharing the same tools in different educational levels. We will especially focus on environments where Flipped Classroom approach is used. The purpose of this experience is to analyse the characteristics of several online tools used to interact in class with students. Those tools include surveys, Q&A, knowledge assessment, etc. allowing a more efficient, dynamic and attractive interaction in class. Two types of online tools have been considered in this experience. The first one includes three of the most commonly used: Kahoot, Socrative and Peardeck. The second one includes: twitter polls, interaction using Google Apps presentations and applications to create forms. The analysis is based on the main use characteristics and experiences in class.
