Abstract
Despite the centrality of impact measurement in the VP approach and of the large uptake of the five steps, a large number of organisations still consider it difficult to implement impact measurement in their daily practice. The two case studies presented in this report aim to fill this knowledge gap. This publication highlights the experience of two European organisations at the forefront of social impact measurement: Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) and Reach for Change. It shows how these two organisations have developed their own impact measurement system and how they have dealt with issues such as proportionality, attribution and additionality.
