Abstract
The central question in the identity of organizations is: who are we as an organization and what distinguishes us from other organizations. An organization's identity offers stability in an unpredictable world, allowing the organization to respond to unexpected events without losing its individuality. This article describes what the identity of an organization entails, how the organizational identity can be reinforced and how the identity can help with organizational change and entering into alliances.
