Abstract
In the last ten years palladium's chemistry has been thoroughly applied in organic chemistry due to its versatility and its great selectivity. In this short review we present the general features of the catalytic cycles involved in heterocoupling reactions illustrated by the Kumada, Negishi, Stille, Suzuki, Heck and Sonogashira reactions.
