Abstract
HarsNet is a thematic network for the assessment of the risk of highly reactive systems, whose objective is to help Small and Medium Companies (SMEs) in the development of their own security advising plan. HarsMeth is one of the tasks of this project, whose purpose is to produce a methodology for the assessment of chemical processes risk, particularly designed for the SMEs. This methodology will offer assistance for the evaluation of discontinuous and semicontinuous processes by means of a simple structure, with the application of fundamental rules and methods.
