Abstract
This study identifies opportunities for the integration of the content areas that comprise the artificial intelligence (AI) literacy curricula compiled by UNESCO with the Technological Education curriculum of Chilean primary education. Based on a qualitative methodology, a descriptive and exploratory case study is developed encompassing the study programs from first to sixth year primary education that define learning in Technological Education. The programs are analyzed using inductive thematic analysis. The results show that the Technological Education curriculum in Chile offers opportunities for the integration of the three content areas that comprise the curricula for AI literacy, with the TIC area being the most relevant for this integration. A proposal is offered to move towards the integration of AI literacy that can be adopted by other curricula with similar characteristics.
