Free Space Measurement in Rubber Based Microwave Absorbers Containing Waste Dispersion Phases from the Metallurgy

Research output: Indexed journal article Articlepeer-review

Abstract

Measurement of the reflection from the surface of microwave absorbers for non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation and attenuation is most successfully done in the free space, i.e. in conditions very close to real exploitation. This paper presents methods for measuring of the indicated parameters without strong requirements for positioning of the antennas and the sample. Some kinds of rubber based absorbers containing waste dispersion phases from the metallurgy are studiedand the experimental results are discussed.
