Abstract
This paper studies the relationship between some pressure factors y the corporate environmentalism concept. We have included four factors: social concern, environmental regulation, competitive advantages y management commitment; y the four dimensions that constitute such concept: internal y external environmental orientation, corporate y marketing environmental strategy. These relationships are analysed on a sample of 235 industrial firms. The results reveal that this concept is mostly determined by the expectations of competitive advantage y management commitment on environmental protection
