Abstract

As much as the biotechnologist wishes to create a system in which the whole world that protects human beings (die Umwelt in the Husserlian sense) is under control, there will always be unforeseen loopholes that will let the unforeseen pass, that will affect them physically and psychically and that, therefore, they will modify and alter it. Faced with the gift received, both nature in a cosmic sense and existence itself, emphasizes recovering the sense of reverence and respect and not losing sight that everything forms a very fragile and unstable interdependent complex that surpasses us. We are the part and not the Whole, and as a conscious and intelligent part that we are, it corresponds to us to be alert and take care of what there is, heal ills and prevent diseases, improve the quality of life of the maximum number of people in the world, respecting, yes, the internal logic of the Whole.
