Abstract

In the modern era of digital education, educational institutions are increasingly adopting cloud-based third-party software, which introduces unique challenges and concerns related to the privacy and security of student data. The SPADATAS initiative is dedicated to promoting the responsible use of digital tools and improving data security within educational data management. Its primary objective is to address concerns surrounding data privacy and security in educational settings, particularly in the context of academic data handling. To raise awareness and enhance data protection in educational institutions, an exhaustive search was conducted to identify online and open resources. Out of a total of 178 resources examined, 146 were meticulously selected following a rigorous evaluation process that involved the exclusion of resources that did not align adequately with the project's objectives and standards. This document offers an overview of the methodology employed to identify these resources and presents a comprehensive mapping of the outcomes. Given the vast landscape of available resources for educational institutions, careful evaluation is indispensable in identifying the most effective resources for strengthening data protection measures.
