This article considers the usefulness of SROI impact evaluation in light of the experiences of four social entities which have used this methodology to communicate the value of their actions both to society in general and to
a number of specific agents. The SROI (social return on investment) method can be used to quantify the worth of a wide range of projects and results, regardless of whether they have a conventional financial value, and is cha
