Abstract
The Florence Nightingale Museum: commemorating the centenary of her death Coinciding with the first centenary of the death of Florence Nightingale, numerous events have taken place, all over the world, in memory of the precursor of "modern nursing". In order to help disseminate the work of Florence Nightingale, we decided to conduct a visit to her museum, located in the recently remodeled Saint Thomas Hospital in London. Mirroring the museum's displays of her life and work, this paper has been divided into three sections: children and family, work in the Crimean War, and reform and fighting spirit in health care. It reports our journey through history, trying to convey to the reader an idea of the sensations felt throughout the visit and we encouraging him to visit.
