Abstract

Education coaching is a tool which enables students to fully exploit their personal development. Studies in recent year have shown that when receptiveness is high, Coaching positively affects learning outcomes and considerably reduces the number of dropouts. However, this article focuses on how the strategic timing of the group coaching sessions in the academic calendar can impact their effectiveness. Our experience was carried out in the academic year 2018-19 with first-year engineering students, given that these are the students with the highest drop-out rate in our institution.
