Abstract
This paper aims to reflect on spirituality and functional diversity, especially from the perspective of professionals working in social action and the approaches promoted by the institutions. With regard to functional diversity, we critically revise the terms disability and dependency and take into account the different dimensions of the person, with special attention to the spiritual dimension.
