Abstract
In the present work it is applied a method of analysis of volatile nitrosamines in samples of dummies and other rubber derivatives. This analysis method is based on the method proposed by the 89/109/CEE Board of Directors, that proposes the use of a liquid similar to the human saliva. After its extraction with dichlormetane, the analysis takes place in a gas chromatograph fitted up with a selective detector of nitrogen-phosphorous. The results are confirmed by means of the coupling HRGC with mass spectrometry. In several samples, nitrosamine concentrations higher to the ones allowed by the norms have been detected, and studies about possible precursors of such nitrosamines have been realized.
