N2 - The NLC (New Learning Context) represents a new educational framework developed by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, De La Salle Christian Brothers, (herein referred to as La Salle) to establish a pedagogical model that can be applied to all stages of education, from Infant School to University. This methodology, which was first implemented in 2017, reflects the ongoing endeavour of our institution to adapt to the real needs of society and improve and transform teaching by doting learning processes with new methodological and teaching formulae. The first step in the development of such a complex system applicable to all stages of schooling, including university education, was the creation of an assessment model to meet basic requirements: firstly, a model that can be used to analyse the quality of the educational framework and its subsequent evolution, and, secondly, a model that enables us to define the processes of research and development which facilitate the incorporation of scientific support in the analysis of the results and the evidence obtained. This paper focuses on the methodological design of the NLC assessment procedure to be tested out in various pilot programmes throughout the 2020-21 academic year.
