Abstract

Change as collaborative play is a methodology and theory for changing organizations in a dynamic environment. The methodology originated from practice, enriched with theoretical concepts and tested against theories of organizational change. In this article, the play model for organizational change is used in a practical study into a profound change process in a social organization. The research shows that the play model is helpful in changing organizations in collaboration with everyone involved. This article describes the usability and applicability of the model and presents new insights.
